Sacré bleu! So much snow!
We had a week in the Alps - skiing in no less than three countries: France, Switzerland and Italy. But by gosh, did we have a lot of snow. We can definitely confirm that we are fair-weather skiers.
But, persist we did and good ol' Italia rewarded us with some beautiful sunshine and some wonderful skiing. The wonders of the Mont Blanc tunnel meant that Courmayeur was only a 30-minute drive away - closer than some of the other Chamonix resorts! Not only did that meant we could ski in another country, but that we also got some fantastic Cappuccini in the mountains. Grazie!
