We can't believe we've been married a year already, but we really have - and we celebrated with a weekend in Barcelona!
Four days in the sunshine in the laid-back cosmopolitan city was amazing. We mixed sight-seeing with plenty of tapas, sangria, wine, and beer. We were also determined to live the Spanish lifestyle: out for the morning, relaxing (by the pool) in the afternoon, and heading out for dinner no earlier than 9.30pm. On Friday night, we stumbled back to our hotel at 6am!
Our visit was completed by a day on the beach in Sitges. Less than an hour away, it was unbelievably easy to get there and we were blessed by some beautiful sunshine. Who knew a city-break could be so relaxing?
